Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) Liaison - DOD Secret
Billet Description: Subject Matter Expert and advisor to the REF Director and Deputy Director on all matters related to energy technologies as they relate to the REF and Army mission.
Billet Roles and Responsibilities:
• The contractor shall maintain a constant focus and conduct consistent market research on the state-of-the-art as it relates to energy-production and energy-conservation technologies that may be useful to the Army and DoD.
• The contractor shall maintain a good working knowledge of the overall DoD and Army roadmaps for energy efforts and understand how REF can best leverage or complement ongoing efforts at both the strategic and tactical levels of operation.
• The contractor shall maintain constant relations with all Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)) Program Offices that have energy-focused materiel solutions in their equipment portfolios. The contractor shall participate in regular technical information interchanges with these offices to ensure points of potential leverage in either direction are well-known and communicated to REF leadership and Acquisition teams.
• The contractor shall work with any designated REF Project Managers, Requirement Analysts or other staff members to ensure any assistance necessary is provided in the timeframe specified by the assignor at the time of assignment. This includes input for briefings or other documentation, acquisition strategy preparation, mission analysis input, and any other as required.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience Requirements: Ten (10) years Army experience including five (5) years experience working as a part of Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)) Department of Army G-4or an Army Acquisition-related organization. Additionally, the contractor shall have three (3) years total experience working closely with energy technologies either as a Government employee, as a Government support contractor, or as a contractor-vendor.
